My name is Jenn Gavlin, and as a ceramic artist, I love spending my time getting messy with clay. My husband Pat and I moved out to Seattle so I could start grad school for my MFA and he could become the breadwinner at a small tech company (very local, but for those in the know, it's called Microsoft). Just as we were starting to adjust to new job, new school, new home, I was diagnosed with a form of cancer called leiomyosarcoma.

Sarah Green is a PhD candidate in Creative Writing at Ohio University. Her poems have appeared in Forklift Ohio, The Gettysburg Review, H_ngm_n, Redivider, FIELD and other magazines. She recently won an Iguana Music Grant and will record an album with Andy Cambria as the duo “Heartacre” in 2011. She is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize.

Current grocery/produce addict, partner of one, mama of one little tomato, lover of Jesus, neighbor, preserving addict, sister of three, daughter of two, robin watcher, spring bud gazer, early riser, soup cooker, bread baker, cookie maker, chaco wearer and lover of water and mountains.
